Cybershield now offers Electroplating on plastic resins, steel, copper and copper alloys.

This new capability complements Cybershield Industry Leading Electroless Plastic Plating know-how. Cybershield can now deposit metal thicknesses up to 0.003" (75 µm) onto plastics and selected metals. Where Electroless Plating is typically limited to plating thicknesses of less than 200 micro-inches (5.0 µm), Electroplating can cost effectively build metal thicknesses to almost any thickness requirement you have.

Cybershield is also capable of depositing RoHS Compliant trivalent chrome plating onto plastic.  Using newly developed, environmentally friendly trivalent chrome plating chemistry, Cybershield offers bright chrome plating with equivalent appearance, corrosion resistance and wear resistant to hexavalent chrome. Cybershield offers bright chrome plating on plastics without the environmental issues associated with traditional chrome plating.
